Holy Family Announces New Girls Golf Coach

Holy Family Catholic High School is proud to welcome Mr. Neil Wilson as its girls’ golf head coach. Wilson brings several years of Holy Family coaching experience, including several years helping coach the boys’ golf team while his sons were a part of the program. Coach Wilson helped Rob Nelson coach the Fire to conference championships in 2014, 2015, 2016, and multiple state appearances and wins in 2015, 2016. He took a break from the program after 2016 to watch and help his sons play collegiately at Palm Beach Atlantic University and currently helps his oldest son, who plays professionally on the PGA Latin America and Minor League Tour. He is excited to return to Holy Family to lead the girls’ program.

Wilson was a PGA apprentice during his early career and worked building golf course developments for his family business, The Wilson Golf Group. After a successful entrepreneurial career, he retired in 2014 and now invests much of his spare time in giving back to his favorite sport, golf.

Neil and Sarah Wilson are committed to building a first-rate girls golf program.

He looks forward to the start of the season and developing the girls program. He says, “I am thrilled to join the Holy Family Girls golf team and announce my wife of 29 years, Sarah, will be by my side helping. We’re committed to ensuring the care needed in creating a first-rate program at all levels. As past parents of three Holy family alumni, we look forward to keeping the FIRE growing strong with the opportunities that lie ahead and promise to continue building a fun, competitive, and successful team.” He continues, “We are both looking forward to working with the student-athletes soon and helping them achieve big things on the golf course.”
